WDV INTEM, intelligent emulation management
Interprets the incoming data formats and switches over to the appropriate plotting language. Files are automatically detected and processed in the plotter languages HPGL, HPGL/2, CalComp 906/907/UHCBS, HP PCL5, WDV-GL/2, HP RTL, CCRF, CALS, TIFF, G3/G4 and DDIF, as well as those in CGM and PostScript Level 2 formats. The application of automatic emulation may be restricted to selected plotting languages. Automatic interface detection is integrated as standard.

The integrated WDV LAN adapter guarantees extremly simple integration into all usual network set-ups.The WDV Print Manager permitts plotter monitoring and management. Machines may thus be set up and their current status queried from any workstation.

The heart of the WDV ARTIST is found in the integrated graphics controller. High processor performance is achieved by its modern design and SMD technology. Further important developments include:
